Modifiers are an essential part of every medical practice, significantly impacting reimbursement, coding compliance, claims accuracy, and denials avoidance. Whether you’re a surgical or nonsurgical practice, modifiers—and E/M modifiers in particular—affect everything you do. Increase your coding know-how and secure payment for all of your eligible services by becoming a wizard with modifiers -24, -25, and -57. The webinar will dive into easily understandable coding scenarios, remove the confusion from bundling issues, and convey clear guidelines to give you a blueprint for success. Also, you’ll get the latest updates on how payers, including Medicare and private plans, are seeking to limit modifier -25 payments.

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the coding rules for modifiers -24, -25, and -57
  • Implement coding tips and intelligence to ensure payers know that your services are billable
  • Stay in compliance with complex coding rules and avoid denials and audits

  • Map out the rules for common E/M modifiers in easily understandable language
  • Present common coding scenarios for modifiers -24, -25, and -57 so you can secure payments
